What you will do

Under general direction, perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC mechanical equipment.Assist branch leadership with coaching and mentoring of branch technicians to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to operational processes.Provide Level 1 technical support and assist with the technical development of others.Ensure work is performed in compliance with state, local, and Federal legal requirements and operate with the highest ethics.Complete all required project and service documentation.

How you will do itAdhere to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards.Provide safety leadership and instruction to all Technicians and subcontractors on Johnson Controls work sites.Be recognized as a leader by peers while coaching and mentoring within the branch.Act as an escalation point on technical issues and provide on-the-job training for other technicians.Provide solutions to complex system problems through troubleshooting or advising on resolutions.Assist management in assuring proper operational disciplines are followed by other Technicians.Regularly provide input on the development and training needs of the branch.Assist with identifying material needs required for service delivery.Help the Service Manager or Customer Service Agent schedule individuals with the correct skills for repairs or installations.Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Manage assigned work to meet a professional level of execution, on-time and to the customer's satisfaction.Provide consultant-level services for customers related to building system repairs and enhancements.Conduct self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency.Complete all training and certifications as required by the company.

RequiredExperience demonstrating strong leadership activities in the technical field.Ability to act independently and coordinate the work of other employees and contractors on customer sites.Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and outside contacts.Able to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical people.
