Triumph Enterprises is currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Information System Security Specialist to join a contract with a federal government client with an important mission. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information systems. You will work closely with our IT and security teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, develop security protocols, and implement necessary measures to safeguard our systems and data. The ideal candidate has a strong background in information security, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to security threats.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will work directly with our government client and lead team members to:Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect our information systems and data.Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps and recommend corrective actions.Monitor network traffic and system logs for any suspicious activities or potential security breaches.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security measures in all stages of system development.Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate and mitigate security breaches, and develop incident response protocols.Stay informed about the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and make recommendations for improvement.Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on security principles, policies, and procedures.Work closely with external vendors and partners to ensure the secure exchange of information and adherence to security standards.Assist in the investigation and resolution of any security-related incidents or violations.Required Experience3+ years of practical experience in any Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Engineering (T&E), or A&A related field.3+ concurrent years of experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirement Guides (SRGs).Practical experience using the following Information Assurance tools:DIS Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)Desired ElementsExperience with the Naval Surface Warfare Center(s) Maintenance and Engineering Division(s).Experience with HM&E research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles.Experience with systems and programs related to Machinery Research, Logistics, and Ship Integrity.Experience with Lean Six Sigma or Total Quality Management.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university in Computer Science or any technical information technology field.Certification Requirements:CCNA-SecurityCompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)GICSPGSECCompTIA Security+ CECNDSSCPClearance Requirements:US Citizenship is required with
