This position will be responsible for implementing and managing complex infrastructure solutions, resolving escalations from the Managed Services Team and executing project assignments from the Project Services Team.Collaborate with account management to ensure client systems are secure, operating optimally and in alignment with client's business objectives and technology roadmaps.Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex issues escalated from Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 teams.Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate network, server, and infrastructure problems, including but not limited to performance issues, network connectivity, security incidents, and hardware failures.Play a key role in the implementation of complex infrastructure projects with project managers and project engineers.Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate resolution efforts and ensure timely resolution of escalated incidents.Proactively identify potential areas for improvement in systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and prevent recurring issues.Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and configurations accurately in the ticketing system for future reference and knowledge sharing.Maintain a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in the industry.Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to achieve the key results and duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.At least 5 years of experience in systems (Physical, Virtual), cloud (M365, AWS) and/or network engineering and administration.Technical proficiency in server operating systems (Windows, Linux) and server hardware platforms.Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure/Entra, Microsoft 365, Google Cloud).A strong understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching.Knowledge of endpoint security, encryption, access controls, security policies, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).Ability to implement backup strategies, test recovery procedures, and monitor backup systems.Deep understanding of Intune policies, profiles, app deployments, and configurations.Knowledge of remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms for managing client endpoints.Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.What We Value
