The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.Featured Benefits:Medical insurance in compliance with the ACA.401(k).Sick leave in compliance with applicable state, federal, and local laws.Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in an AWS environment to join our team in Atlanta.The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our offshore DevOps team, utilizing the UST PACE cloud engineering product for DevOps functions. This role requires a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to support and manage key modules/tasks.Key Responsibilities:AWS Environment Management:
Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services.Collaboration:
Work closely with the offshore DevOps team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.Support:
Provide support for the cloud environment during US Eastern hours, including participating in daily calls with the offshore team at 8:30 AM Eastern.Module/Task Management:
Take ownership of key modules and tasks within the cloud environment, ensuring their robust performance.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployment processes.Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement optimizations for improved performance and cost-efficiency.Security:
Ensure that the cloud environment adheres to security best practices and complies with relevant regulations and policies.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.Required Qualifications:Experience:
2-3 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on AWS.AWS Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and others.DevOps Tools:
Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and others.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with offshore teams.Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Problem-Solving:
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.Preferred Qualifications:Certification:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certifications.Automation:
Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Agile Methodologies:
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Cloud Engineering Products:
Experience with UST PACE or similar cloud engineering products.
