Here, you will make an impact by:Working with global Application Engineering, Product Development, Sales and Marketing personnel to develop and replicate high impact Tape applications for the Electronics Market.Identifying the best 3M solution for an application by thoroughly understanding the customer need, testing, and analyzing results. Communicate results to customers and global application engineering team through written reports and presentations.Providing launch support for new product programs by developing predictive test methods, generating supporting documentation, demonstration tools, videos, and training materials.Building a deep understanding of customer needs and competition for tapes used in the electronics market and provide performance feedback, new product ideas and competitive analysis.Diagnosing customer application or production issues and help solve in an expeditious manner.Willingness to participate in early morning or evening meetings with a global team.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires ( at a minimum ) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).Three (3) years of experience working with polymers or adhesives in a private, public, government or military environment.Current, valid Driver’s License.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science from an accredited institution.Two years of experience in Application Engineering.Work location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center Maplewood, MN at least 3 days per week).Travel:

May include up to 20% domestic/international.Relocation Assistance:
