DescriptionScience Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is seeking two (2) Senior Enterprise Architects to join our team supporting a major state & local government customer. This position reports to the Architecture team Lead as part of the Architecture Team responsible for infrastructure IT strategy, enterprise and solution design, technology roadmap, SSP and Security Baselines, capabilities mapping, service continuity, and quality assurance services to a variety of geographically dispersed customers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.Essential duties of this position include:Architecting new or changed IT services, Service Management Systems, technologies, processes, information and metrics.Create, manage and maintain IT enterprise architecture models and their sub-components.Developing annual technology roadmaps, refresh plans, and supporting technical designs for Enterprise Infrastructure Services.Develop solution designs based on collaboration with diverse groups including customers, engineers, and other enterprise architects.Ability to resolve complex issues related to enterprise wide concerns.Ability to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional, non-functional, technical, and performance requirements.Other key attributes include:Experience in supporting a large, complex IT environment for a Federal or State Government.Experience in Cloud Architecture – be able to create/validate architecture designs in various Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle/OCI) for migration strategy (onPrem to Cloud) and new enterprise services in the cloud. Commercial and Gov (FedRamp High). This would also include integrating Cloud inherent services (i.e. DR, Messaging, Notification, AAD, Serverless, etc.) that integrates with onPrem requirements (AD sourced) and offered via a Service Catalog which integrates behind the scenes with a resource orchestration tool such as CloudScend (Morpheus, Terraform, etc.).Real world experience and working knowledge of Commonwealth of Virginia (COV) SEC standards, NIST RMF, performing assessments for compliance with NIST 800-53 controls, and CIS benchmarks for System Security Plan (SSP) and Baseline support. Help define and manage infrastructure authentication, authorization and utilization by automating Cyber Security policies/rules/conditions/criteria - which are defined, updated, shared, and enforced in a safe, consistent, and repeatable manner.The ideal candidate will have extensive infrastructure experience including solution design; experience translating business requirements and objectives into IT strategy; and experience with one or more frameworks for best practice delivery including ITIL v4 and TOGAF. Experience must include familiarity with application, platforms and infrastructure layers.QualificationsEducation / Certifications / OtherBachelors and 14 years or a Masters and 12 years or a PHD and 9 years preferred.or Bachelors and five (8) years or more experience; Masters and five (5) years or more experience.ITIL v4 certification preferred (Foundation or above).Extensive experience with one or more Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.).Experience with one or more of the following:

Next level/future here would be using/valuing an EA management tool (i.e. Ardoc, LeanIX, etc.) that would manage lifecycle/EOL, tech debt/risk, architecture planning, roadmaps, strategy, and modeling.
