This position is responsible for assisting our customers with the proper fitting of ski and/or snowboard equipment while continuing to provide the best-in-class guest service for which Christy Sports is known.Job Responsibilities:Fit boots, skis, snowboards and/or poles to guest satisfaction.Demonstrate and maintain the high standard of guest service.Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends.Complete accurate work order paperwork.Demonstrate proper knowledge of company cash handling policies and procedures.Be on-time for your scheduled work-shift, with proper and clean appearance.Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques.Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task.Other duties as may be assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Be Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with people.Love to ski or snowboard and some knowledge of how it all works.Have basic computer skills.English fluency, written and verbal.Need to be flexible in your schedule to get the most out of ski time, including working split shifts, nights, holidays and weekends.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 pounds.The Perks and Benefits: ( * Benefits for Year Round Full-Time Employees)Free Employee Ski Pass.Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Employer Paid Basic Life Insurance and AD&D.Voluntary Life Insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child).Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match.Paid Time Off.Paid Sick Time (State applicable).Short-Term and Long-Term Disability.Employee Discounts (ski, retail, outdoor industry and much more!).Equal Opportunity Employer:Christy Sports is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
