Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to join our intel team. This is a NIGHT FLOATER position. The normal schedule is 7 pm - 5 am, Monday - Thursday. The floating occurs when this role covers other shifts if coworkers are on leave. For example, most other roles work 12-hour night shifts from 5 pm to 5 am. Therefore this floater position might work a 12-hour shift on a Friday night from 5 pm - 5 am if someone is sick or on leave.The System Administrator - Shift (SA-S) Skill Level 1 - 32347 will join a team of similar individuals who work alongside the government on a 24x7 desk to support field sites.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
TS/SCI Clearance with polygraphFive (5) years’ experience as an SA on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systemsProvide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsOptimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planningMonitor and notify according to procedures. Monitor screens and site data for issues.
