The Ocular Team designs, builds, and maintains tools that provide visibility to the Comcast network for internal engineering and operations teams. We have a variety of projects involving front and backend systems. Our tech stack is centered around .NET Core, MS SQL, and Angular, but we also use other interesting technologies like NoSQL (Cassandra) along with integrating with a wide array of other applications that encompass everything from Kafka to AWS SQS to GraphQL APIs. Our team is optimized for fast delivery of features needed by the business, and is a fun, challenging, and supportive environment!What You’ll Do:Responsible for designing solutions for various programs, developing and maintaining code to enhance and support our applications, and handling operational support to ensure smooth performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.Act as a key liaison, collaborating with various project teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and communication.Responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack.Build products with web frameworks, application programming interfaces, databases, and multiple backend languages.Solve challenges that impact both the front-end and back-end architecture, while delivering global customer experiences. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.What You’ll Need:Strong coding skills, experience in application support and solution design, leadership abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate across different teams.5+ years of experience with .NET Core, SQL, and strong debugging skills are required.Familiarity with Angular, Redis, Cassandra, API development (REST and GraphQL), Docker, CI/CD Pipeline (Git/Concourse), and RabbitMQ would be a plus!BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.Experience in Web Application development and support.Well-versed knowledge of systems analysis, programming, and design.Employees at all levels are expected to:Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.Own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first.Know your stuff - be enthusiastic learners, users, and advocates of our technology, products, and services.Win as a team - make big things happen by working together and being open to new ideas.Be an active part of the Net Promoter System.Drive results and growth.Respect and promote inclusion & diversity.Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors, and our communities.CompensationPrimary Location Pay Range: $113,052.32 - $169,578.49.
