Title: Technical Data EngineerLocation: RemoteKeys from intake call:Come in with experience working with Databricks on AWSExperience working with Big DataAn analytical mindset to find solutions working with different vendors and technologiesHealthcare experience is a nice to have.Responsibilities:Translate solution designs and capability requirements into technical requirements supporting technologies that can deliver long term solutions.Ability to evaluate multiple overlapping vendor products and provide detailed assessment with scoring.Participate in technical discussions with vendor and document technical and functional features that align with requirements. Highlight product limitations and constraints.Understand MODE principles and align with strategy and architecture guidelines. Incorporate best practices and standards.Understand use cases and develop solutions for managing, storing, and delivering data for insights and Data science workloads.Lead and deliver highly scalable and flexible, cost-effective enterprise data solutions.Coordinate with other engineering and operations teams and own the conversation to define use cases, goals, objectives, and architecture to support the business needs.Requirements and skills:Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.Strong hands-on data management and data engineering skills.5 or more years of experience in healthcare data and SQL database(s) including experience with developing SQL queries and stored procedures.3 or more years of experience with Lake House, Big Data, Epic Caboodle/Clarity and non-SQL databases.3 or more years working in modern data lake house architecture using technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Dremio, Spark, AWS Redshift, etc.3 or more years working in a data technical lead role including modeling, designing, and building complex data solutions using SQL and non-SQL databases.Strong understanding of and experience with data engineering concepts, devops, and data security.Strong experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and cloud data engineering tools and services.Dedicated and hardworking lead who achieves maximum efficiency and productivity working with the rest of the team.Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
