POSITION:
The position of the
Robotics Engineer
is accountable for overseeing the robotic systems to achieve the maximum efficiency in the manufacturing production areas of a heavy industrial fabrication welding facility The incumbent will play a crucial role in researching, designing, building configuring, testing and maintaining robotic and robotic welding systems and applications.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:Reading, writing, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures and
schematics.
Defining problems, collecting data, and deducing facts and
conclusions.
Ensure all product meets Quality standards for form, fit, and finish.Writing software, building electronics, and designing
mechanisms.Designing robotic peripheral equipment.Programming complex robotics
systems.Researching, developing, and maintaining robotics systems and
components.Troubleshooting robotics systems and
applications.Develop automated welding processes and procedures.Maintaining accurate documentation and
records.To ensure success the incumbent should exhibit knowledge of manufacturing process troubleshooting and
robotics.SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skills.Proven ability to develop mechanical and electrical
systems.Thorough knowledge of robotic welding systems.Proven skills in writing software and programming
systems.Strong analytical and creative problem-solving
skills.Able to apply advanced mathematical
concepts.Able to work independently and as part of a
team.Safety and results focused for improved efficiency and productivity .EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in automation, mechanical, robotics or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM
software.Excellent knowledge of welding and welding processes.2 or more years’ experience in manufacturing, robotics engineering or similar
role.Reviewing and approving cost estimates and project
calculations.ESSENTIAL

knowledge.
Provide technical support for robotic
