You will be the Software Engineer Sr. for the Simulation & Systems Test (SST). Our team is the place to build your career in Software Engineering. What You Will Be DoingAs the Software Engineer you will be responsible for integration and troubleshooting of SSS software products in hardware-in-the-loop and man-in-the-loop lab environments. Tasks include software development and integration for a distributed, real-time simulation system that includes a mix of aircraft and simulation software and hardware. You will use your software engineering and integration experience to integrate and test SSS software in different environments and venues supporting program customers. Your responsibilities will include:Simulation software engineering experienceUnderstanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts used to develop and integrate software for products primarily founded on the reuse of existing software, and supporting Digital Transformation.

Basic Qualifications:Software Development Experience using C++Experience developing software on LinuxBachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technical Field

Desired Skills:Experience with real-time software development & integrationExperience with Real-Time Operating SystemsExperience with automated testingExperience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and BitbucketExperience performing software integration in hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation environmentsExperience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as JiraAn extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanesStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationActive F-35 program access

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
