Solutions Design and Development Engineer - Emissions
HOERBIGER Service, Inc. (HSI) is seeking a Solutions Design and Development Engineer for our Emissions program to develop, implement and optimize solution to reduce fugitive emissions for our customers. HOERBIGER provides comprehensive solutions for reducing emissions in oil and gas supply chain through our proprietary technology and a network of strategic partner products.This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, sales teams, field engineers, customers, strategic partners, and R&D to provide technical expertise, customize products and systems, and support the integration of emission capture technologies. Solution Design & Development - Collaborate with sales/engineering to understand client requirements and design, customize, and optimize emission reduction/capture systems. Develop technical solutions for capturing methane and other greenhouse gases in industrial settings. Manage projects.Technical Support - Provide technical guidance and serve as technical expert on selecting, applying, and troubleshooting emission reduction/capture systems. Conduct training and technical presentations. Assist in installing, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.Integration & Testing - Work with the R&D team to integrate emissions reduction/capture solutions into existing industrial systems. Take a proactive role when technical problems occur. Lead the testing and validation of systems to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and performance benchmarks.Emissions Program - Assess new technologies from an application standpoint. Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensuring all solutions comply with relevant regulations. Engage in regulatory reviews and associated working groups.Product Development - Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative emissions mitigation solutions. Ensure solutions meet customer needs and comply with regulatory requirements.Qualifications
Proven track record of designing and implementing emission capture or reduction systems in industrial settings.Solid understanding of environmental regulations and emission standards.Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Knowledge of the O&G market and facilities.Minimum three years of experience in application engineering, preferably within emissions capture, environmental technology or industrial process control.Advanced computer skills including: engineering software (CAD, process simulation software), ERP/CRM systems, as well as using computers for technical problem solving, word processing, creating technical presentations, and data analysis.Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.This job requires up to 40% travel including: occasional short-notice air travel to end users for product support; international travel for product support in Canada and international travel for training/company meetings. May require travel to an offshore platform by boat or helicopter and must be eligible for a TWIC card.Employee Benefits
