About the Role:
Help us protect the Security Cloud from the most advanced threats! As a Sr. Security Engineer in Product Security, you will work hand-in-hand as a Security Partner to product engineers designing and implementing new services across our various Product teams to ensure security is built-in from the start. This highly dynamic, hands-on role will work in-depth with our scaled, event-driven, distributed infrastructure to ensure performance and protection are effectively balanced.
What You’ll Do:
Build threat models and leverage tools to secure platform services
Assist in the generation of secure system designs, accounting for evolving threat & product landscapes
Partner with various product teams enabling quick product iterations and deployments
Build deep relationships with product and engineering leaders
What You'll Need:
Experience with Cloud-scale, business-critical Linux and/or other Unix-like variant environments
Knowledge of cloud platforms and highly concurrent systems
Demonstrated expertise operating within AWS, GCP, and/or Azure Cloud environments
Understanding of security architecture principles across the SDLC
Experience working with teams that engineer products and bring them to market
Moderate ability to create scripts, perform automation, and aggregate data for analysis
A combination of confidence, independence, clear thinking, and effective communications
Bonus Points:
Domain knowledge in Kubernetes containerized infrastructure and security
Familiarity with Salt, Chef, Ansible, or general configuration management principles.
