UX Web Developer Journeyman
for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This is a
REMOTE
position.Position Description:
The
UX Web Developer Journeyman
will design and develop user-friendly web applications with a focus on enhancing user experience. This role involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, as well as implementing these designs using front-end technologies. The UX Web Developer Journeyman will work closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces.Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.Collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure design feasibility.Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback.Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends and technologies.Develop mobile-friendly designs
and ensure responsive functionality across various devices.Leverage experience in mobile app development
to create intuitive and seamless user experiences for both web and mobile applications.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design.Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe toolset and others.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces.Ability to support web applications of any language including .Netcore, Java Spring Boot, Python.Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, and comparable languages.Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies.Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.Experience creating storyboards and website mapping.Clear and effective communication of requests, changes, and user feedback through documentation and other means.Experience on an Agile team.Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
