In the role of Water/Wastewater EIT, we'll count on you to:
Assist the Senior Engineers with site studies, site designs, construction documentation preparation and graphic presentationPrepare plans and specifications for water pipelinePrepare plans and specifications for wastewater facilities and treatment systemWrite first drafts of technical memorandaRead and understand technical manualsPrepare spreadsheet calculationsPerform construction cost estimatesPerform field work including:Inspection of concrete and steel facilitiesReport preparationWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsPerform other duties, as needed
Preferred QualificationsMSEIT preferred; those hired without an EIT will be called a W/WW Coordinator and expected to obtain EIT for career progression
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateInterest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must
