Focus:
Install, configure, and maintain control systems related to mission-critical data center infrastructure.
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on controls systems platforms, ensuring maximum system reliability and uptime.
Implement programming updates and system changes to control systems using industry-standard languages and tools.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize facility controls and resolve technical issues.
Interpret and work with electrical and mechanical drawings to perform necessary system upgrades or repairs.
Ensure compliance with protocols for TCP/IP, BACnet, MODBUS, and other communication frameworks used within control systems.
Skill Set:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in control systems or related roles.
Hands-on experience with control platforms such as Niagara N4 by Tridium, Distech EC-Gfx, Schneider Struxureware/EcoStruxure, Schneider Powerlogic/Citect SCADA (EPMS), Eaton Foreseer (EPMS), Ignition by Inductive Automation, Nlyte NEO, Automated Logic, and Delta systems is preferred.
Basic proficiency in programming environments like Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, or other relevant programming languages.
Familiarity with communication protocols, including TCP/IP, BACnet, and MODBUS.
Experience working in data centers or critical facilities is a strong advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical and mechanical schematics.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, both desktop and server environments, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
