Cybersecurity Technical SETA, Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)

Required Background and Skills:Must have a technical background of some depth related to cyber technologies, hardware, and/or software (able to go deep at least in one cyber area or domain)Technology and technical approach related experience with military cyber operations, tools, and integration with transition platforms for operational useExperience with supporting DoD research programs in terms of technology management, engagement with research performers, deliverable review, and leading regular calls or meetings with research performers on a technical basisExperience involving direct engagement with government transition partners (within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community) and related stakeholdersDemonstrated understanding of DoD security guidance, policy, and program execution with respect to test events, conducting research, and technology transitionAbility to perform high priority and time-sensitive tasks in parallelExtreme attention to detail and organizational approach and abilitiesDeeply embraces and understands the “SETA mentality” of keeping programs progressing, working within an agency like DARPA, and communicating among research teams and transition partnersTop Secret Security Clearance/SCI EligibleAbility to work 100% on-site full time in a SCIF environment in Arlington, VA (no regular telework or remote work)Travel may be required up to 10-20% of the timeDesired Background and Skills:Hands-on tactical experience with analytical products and tools for cyber operationsAdvanced cybersecurity technologies transitioning and entering rapid acquisition from the Department of Defense research communityTesting and evaluation of Department of Defense or Intelligence Community applied research and advanced technology development of cybersecurity technologies and/or prototypes in an operationally relevant environmentGathering and interpreting information from sensitive platforms for intelligence collection, risk assessment, and reporting5+ years of experience in the above realms
