Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing a team of on-site employees responsible for field operations and maintenance of Applied Materials Metallization Business Unit products in customer fab.Ensures correct assignment of team resources towards served products in customer fab in order to resolve field issues promptly and maintain customer equipment uptime.Regularly communicate across customer-facing field functions in Process Support, Sales, Field Service, and Install Teams to maintain resource forecast schedule that accurately reflects field support & ownership requirements.Reviews and monitors action plans to close downtime issues to ensure customer production success.Leads team on utilizing 8D Applied Materials Problem Solving methodology during field service to properly prioritize and prevent systemic issues related to design, quality & service root causes.Improves Corporate Operating Margins through continuous improvement mindset of field Installation & Warranty operational expenses.Responsible for ensuring all team members are up to date with required training including safety training and Technical Development.Interviews, hires, and develops new hire additions to the team as necessary to support Business Unit objectives.Functional KnowledgeDemonstrates comprehensive understanding of operations and roles of customer organizations, Applied Materials account teams, and Business Unit field-facing teams.In-depth knowledge of Business Unit product portfolio under engagement at customer site.Business ExpertiseApplies in-depth understanding of how field service execution impacts customer selections between competitors.Develops field operating plans and forecasts to support business needs at customer site.LeadershipFrontline leadership of direct reports and adjacent teams to collaborate towards high speed and high quality demonstration of Applied Materials competitive advantages at customer site.Inspires local teams on the importance of their contributions to the successful expansion of critical advanced node semiconductor manufacturing in the US.Problem SolvingIdentifies and resolves complex technical, operational, and organizational problems related to field execution of Applied Materials products.Summarizes and communicates field problem-solving conclusions to adjacent functions for efficient transfer of Root Cause Corrective Action Issue Ownership.ImpactImpacts the business results of direct reports and supporting teams by managing the execution of projects, products, and services at the customer site.Guided by business unit, department, or sub-functional business plans.Interpersonal SkillsInfluences others internally and externally, including senior management and customers.Position requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times. $80,000.00 - $110,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
