Full-timeProSidian seeks a Performance Oversight Specialist - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project - GSSC [Full-Time [W-2] Senior Consultant] located in The Hanford Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area to provide services and support as a Performance Oversight Specialist at the Hanford Site.JOB OVERVIEWProvides performance oversight engineering support on behalf of The Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site as a Project Oversight Engineer located in Richland, WA.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESSCOPE OF WORK:Facilitate the transition of the Direct Feed High Level Waste (DFHLW) Mission to an operations effort, coordinating and leading a team of senior engineers to develop a Process Control Strategy (PCS) for the integrated DFHLW configured facilities.Assist with oversight of Performance Oversight Specialist performance.Assist with oversight of Performance Oversight Specialist’s system design review program (performance and planning activities), and nuclear safety program for the WTP High Level Waste (HLW) Facility.Provide support in the assessments of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) progress for the WTP HLW systems in the baseline and DFLAW configurations.Assist with oversight of Performance Oversight Specialists’ efforts to address findings, including monitoring and reporting on any improvements in Performance Oversight Specialist’s Assurance Program, extent of condition reviews, and issue resolution efforts.Provide WTP Performance Assurance support to the Assistant Manager WTP (AMWTP), Deputy AMWTP, and Division Directors, for management assessments, action tracking, and record management.Provide auditing and training support.Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The Performance Oversight Specialist shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner. The Performance Oversight Specialist employee shall submit a weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work accomplished and deliverable progress.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducation – BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management. Six (6) years of experience may be substituted for BS/BA degree.Experience – Nine (9) years of directly applicable successful experience as a management consultant or senior manager interfacing and working with organizational executives and senior management, or senior technical or business individuals, within government or industry on significant management, technical, or business issues.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Demonstrate familiarity and relevant experience or ability to perform oversight of the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) in accordance with DOE processes, and document results in Integrated Contractor Assurance System (ICAS).Demonstrate familiarity and relevant experience or ability to support WTP by providing quality related oversight functions to WTP Federal Project Directors in their efforts to address performance issues and verify completion of facility milestones.Compliance with site specific safety and security requirements, including badging and office protocols.Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen.Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program).Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe).All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.Other Requirements and Conditions of Employment Apply.May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement.Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.TRAVEL:
