If you are a team-oriented DevSecOps Engineer with a focus on security, we invite you to take the next step in your career with us.A DevSecOps Engineer will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that will take source code from the software development team and create artifacts and products that the customers can use. They will also play a critical role in integrating security practices into the development operations lifecycle. This role requires demonstrated experience using and manipulating software automation, version control systems, cloud services, security automation, and threat detection.What will you do?Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesUse tools to automate repeatable tasks to improve the software development lifecycleUse cloud services to deploy pipelines that can communicate with code repositories and artifact storage solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve build issues to ensure high reliability of the pipelineIntegrate and test security testing frameworks into build pipelinesEducate teams on security best practices and encourage secure development practicesImplement monitoring tools to detect and respond to security threats across the development pipeline and production environmentUse tools to continuously scan for vulnerabilities in code and third-party librariesIntegrate automated testing frameworks into build pipeline that ensure code qualityIdentify and track metrics that measure the reliability and performance of CI/CD pipelinesCreate an inclusive environment across all aspects of the development team that supports and promotes continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and teamworkPromote, manage, and support an Agile organization and structure to manage and complete project milestones and deliverablesAbility to travel up to 20%Other responsibilities as assignedRequirementsClearance RequirementsAll applicants must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a “Secret” clearance level due to the nature of the projects.Candidates with an active “Secret” clearance are preferred.Required Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline3+ years of experience in DevOps engineeringDemonstrated experience in security testing and automationExperience in threat modeling & detection, and vulnerability scanningExperience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCIExperience using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExperience with shell scripting tools such as PowerShell and BashExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience deploying and maintaining containerized software using tools such as DockerPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency in architecting automated pipelines that improved the software development processExperience with container orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm)Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g. Grafana)Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA)Certifications in DevOps and cloud platform technologiesWhat We Offer:At TheIncLab, your purpose is our mission!
