The Role at a glance:
The Client Partnership Director (CPD) is responsible for leading, coordinating, and facilitating the company’s account retention efforts. The CPD is assigned Strategic Accounts and is directly responsible for developing the accounts strategy and proactively leading the retention activities. The CPD facilitates the use and implementation of company-wide retention tools and programs.
What you'll be doing:
Trains and facilitates the use of comprehensive strategic retention program including tools, processes, and reports for our business partners to leverage
Ensure effective utilization of Tegara (Salesforce) by key user groups to capture/leverage data on existing client relationships that will provide critical metrics and dashboards
Establish quality metrics and analytics to support our business partners
Develop contract extension and renewal strategies to preempt competitive bid situations
Provide analysis on rebid/new business turndowns and/or new business gained to capture insights and advance our competitive positioning in the market
Facilitates standardized approaches to gauging quality and effectiveness within (segment) existing client portfolio
Help business partners establish consistent definitions and identification for contracts at risk
Engage with Marketing on client satisfaction surveys along with other opportunities to capture customer feedback and gauge client engagement and satisfaction year-over-year
Partner with Operations teams in developing and executing detailed project plans for client issue resolution
Support (segment) approach to Annual/Quarterly Report to communicate the value we have delivered, align expectations for future developments and overall strengthen partnerships with clients
Provide coaching and training for (segment) managers, focusing on client retention
Lead key strategic account rebids and collaborate with Operations and Growth Leaders to ensure the effectiveness of the process
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8-10+ years related experience
Strong financial and business acumen
Superb interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal savvy.
Able to quickly build relationships (internally and externally)
Strategic thinker
Polished presenter to senior c-suite executives
Travel up to 75%
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in more than one food service management market segment.
Experience in Corporate Dining, Cultural Centers, Restaurants, and/or Events.
Operations experience
