a Sr. Software Developer
to support the current mission in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Sr. Software Developer will support Software Engineering Environment(s) and will assist the established team in the design, deployment, and integration of software build automation/continuous integration tools within the SEC SE2 that facilitate the postproduction support of software and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This includes supporting the current Agile software development tools that facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery of software maintained by SEC developers. Additionally, you will provide infrastructure services and support, troubleshooting, and help desk services while interacting with users (tier 2&3) and applications administration.It can be expected that you will analyze current technologies and recommend cutting-edge solutions to fulfill current and future requirements. In this position, the contractor will also participate in and contribute to the success of the analysis, planning, deployment, testing, and integration of existing and novel DevSecOps technologies into the SE2 infrastructure to ensure the SEC mission and goals remain attainable in a rapidly growing technological environment.Supporting personnel MUST have IAT Level 2 credentials, including baseline cyber certificate(s) and applicable platform certifications, which include common operating environment training (Windows 2016/2019, Linux RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu).Required Skills:Active Secret security clearanceSecurity+ and IAT Level IIComputing environment certification within 6 months(such as Azure DevOps Server – Powershell Script, GitLab – Bash Script, or Jenkins)3+ years Programming experience, including Test Driven Development(such as C#, .NET Core, Python, Java, Go)2+ years Configuration as Code experience (such as Ansible)1+ year working in application deployment and support in a Linux environmentExperience building cross-platform applicationsExperience with the SDLC, including use of software source code control systems, artifact repositories, and code assessment toolsExcellent understanding of DevSecOps and best practicesStrong knowledge in planning and performing in an Agile work environment with a focus on Agile development practicesExperience using project planning tools (such as Jira and Confluence)Exceptional technical troubleshooting skills (applications, services, servers, networking, etc.)Excellent verbal communication skillsEffective writing to produce documentation for technicians and usersAdditional Desired Skills:Azure DevOps Server Implementations, including build agent configurationsActive Directory (ADFS integration) | LDAP IntegrationContainerization experience (such as Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)Experience configuring reverse proxy and load balancingSingle Sign-on Integration (such as SAML, OpenID)Experience using Traefik, PortainerEagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) offers a competitive benefits package, including paid holidays, paid time off including sick and vacation leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long-term disability, company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with a company match, discretionary profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement.EIS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
