To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding Software Engineering Lead – Sitecore Back End to be part of our Information Technology/Digital Apps Team.
Overview
Looking for a Software Engineering Lead – Sitecore Back End to lead and support the Sitecore Back End team developing web-based applications in Sitecore in an Agile/Scrum setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high level leadership and guidance of the Sitecore Back End team to overcome blockers, determine technical implementations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain established quality and performance metrics.
As part of the Scrum team and the Functional lead of the Sitecore Back End team, you will work with digital marketing, BAs, Scrum Master, Architects, Leads, and other functions to understand business requirements and pain points and work with the Sitecore Back End team to help them build features to address them.
Play an indirect role in providing technical support, documentation and administration of Sitecore applications.
You will be responsible for providing senior support and tech/implementation notes for features/functions of the melaleuca.com website using Sitecore .NET CMS backend.
Work with the Application Delivery team leads in designing contracts/endpoints to determine data get/post.
Work closely with Product Managers, Sitecore Developers, FE Developers, BAs and QA in an Agile environment to ensure quality, security, and maintenance of applications, and to ensure code meets development standards and guidelines.
On occasion, provide Tier-2/3 support for the melaleuca.com website.
Train, mentor and onboard intermediate and junior staff as needed.
Qualifications
6+ years of IT experience in the development of scalable consumer facing digital solutions (consumer websites, web applications, mobile sites, etc) in .NET/C#.
4+ years developing MVC pattern solutions with a key focus on performance, security, and scalability.
4+ years of continuous Sitecore 8/9/10 experience, with Sitecore 9/10 preferred.
2+ years of leading a Sitecore development team across multiple projects, providing hands on/day to day leadership and support of a team of Sitecore Developers.
Proven understanding of the software development life cycle, preferably Agile/Scrum, Sitecore development best practices, and possess the ability to implement and execute standard software architecture patterns.
Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is a plus.
Experience and expertise in the following technologies and processes:
Git and Gitflow or equivalent preferred.
Expertise in software architecture and design patterns including Helix.
Expertise with CI/CD.
Expertise with Azure DevOps is a plus.
Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
