Join HDR and help make great things possible.In this role, we'll count on you to:Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projectsIndependently coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple phases of a projectEstablish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with Project Managers and other disciplinesCoordinate workload of team members through multiple phases to complete documents on scheduleReview architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesPerform QA/QC and technical reviewsWrite and edit architectural specificationsCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change ordersIncorporate agreed-upon changes into project documentsLead projects in a dual management role as neededProvide construction contract administration as neededPerform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ of architectural experience with healthcare project typesMust be a Registered ArchitectExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule) requiredExcellent written and communication skills are a mustExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills are a mustMust be proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit and have familiarity with related tools and processMust have demonstrated graphic presentation skillsMust have experience in the preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specificationsStrong knowledge of codes and good planning skills are requiredAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in ArchitectureExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not requiredKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max but not requiredRhino and Grasshopper experienceLocal candidates are preferredWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's also about what you do and how you do it.
