Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career System Safety Engineer. In this role, you will support System Safety Program Plan development and execution by performing analyses for hazard identification, evaluation and control using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques typically used in the design of aircraft weapon systems and sustainment activities. The successful candidate will be capable of performing qualitative and quantitative hazard analyses to conduct risk assessments and trade studies needed to evaluate and optimize design choices and recommend appropriate controls to mitigate safety hazards. Must be a US Citizen.This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Software, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) or related discipline.Knowledge of statistical analysis methods.Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong technical and analytical skills.Military or civilian flight experience.Strong MS Office tools skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Security Clearance Statement:

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.Experience Level:
