Data Quality Analyst (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is currently seeking a Data Quality Analyst & Tester to join a team to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The position will support the Data Migration & Syndication effort within the Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO).
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
Execute and monitor daily Data Quality (DQ) checks using the locally developed IRIS DQ tools for 131 sites, 1400+ tables, and over 340 billion records.
Investigate and fix DQ differences found.
Meet with IRIS Developers to discuss findings and resolutions to include reviewing VistA records and updates to class code.
Gather requirements for new DQ capabilities, work with Development team to implement new capabilities, test new capabilities, and deploy to Production.
Monitor and maintain DQ Portainer / Docker (container) environment.
Work with System Administration team to address DQ server issues such as virus scans, license/hardware installation, and reboots.
Manage and maintain DQ applications: DQ Tool, Event Tracker, DMM Ticketing, and Journal File tool.
Manage user access and permissions to DQ applications.
Create and update Data Quality Progress Report.
Create and update user and technical documentation for DQ tools and DQ processes.
Facilitate weekly DQ meeting to include status of DQ Checks, Back Checks, InterSystems Data Checks, and Shadow Checks.
Monitor System Status for VX130 and Oracle Health Ensemble.
Compile and distribute VX130 Historical Pull Status report and maintain Power BI version of the report.
Execute and enhance IRIS cut-over extract programs for Appointments, Medications (Active, Hold, Suspended), Lab Orders, Consults, Radiology Orders, Other Health Insurance (OHI), Blood Bank, Organ Transplant, Dental, Patient Identity, Immunizations, and Lab and Rad Mappings at various intervals prior to a site going live and at go-live.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by Oracle Health and the VA for migrated data.
Create, execute, and validate ad-hoc VX130 SQL queries requested by management, domain SMEs, and VistA sites.
Review Oracle Health relevant Task Orders Monthly Progress Report (Pillar Support) for accuracy.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline.
Experience with tools to automate, monitoring, design, or data mapping functions.
Knowledge of database architecture, administration, and security for on-premise and cloud-hosted database systems.
Communicates and leads effectively detailed technical discussions and develop and present required briefing materials to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in the VA or other federal organizations desired.
Experience with Data Migration and Data Syndication within the VA desired.
Experience with DQ applications including but not limited to DQ Tool, Event Tracker, DMM Ticketing, and Journal File tool.
Ability to obtain a Government clearance.
