As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for carrying out critical cybersecurity architecture solutions by identifying, creating, and communicating risk, mitigation options, and solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals. This role will be part of a specialized security team enabling the delivery of secure and compliant network solutions at speed for the business. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor incorporating knowledge of emerging threats, business goals and system design to secure JPMC networks across the globe. As a core technical contributor, the incumbent will leverage expertise in attack paths across the technology stack, including tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) used by adversaries to exploit vulnerabilities and leverage Threat Modeling subject matter expertise to secure JPMC networks.Job responsibilitiesEngages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needsDefines the technical target state of their cybersecurity product and drives achievement of the strategyIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systemsLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and assess cybersecurity design and technical credentials for use in existing systems and architectureLeads communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge cybersecurity technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering high quality threat modelsDeep expertise in network security and good understanding of applied cryptographyIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experienceDeep knowledge of one or more software and applicationsAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architectureExperience effectively communicating with senior business leadersJPMorgan Chase is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Veterans.
