Codeware is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join our Austin-based Software Development Team. This position is responsible for further developing our COMPRESS and INSPECT products. This is an intermediate-level position.Codeware provides a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees.Position Responsibilities
Applies the latest programming concepts and tools to further develop Codeware’s products.Assists with refactoring the established code base.Performs application profiling to optimize performance.Assists with other projects as assigned.Position Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience with pressure vessel design (ASME Division 1 & Division 2).Experience with .Net Framework (C++, VB.net).Experience with database programming.Familiar with common design patterns.Skilled at reading and comprehending established source code.Characteristics
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.Self-motivated and action-oriented.Able to communicate project progress in a clear and concise manner.Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.Comfortable asking questions.Good organizational and planning skills.Committed to professional advancement through continuous learning.Company Overview
