Mueller Water Products, a leader in critical water infrastructure for over 160 years, is facing exciting challenges and opportunities with aging infrastructure and environmental sustainability. They are looking for an AWS Data Engineer to manage and optimize vast amounts of data, supporting data scientists and BI users at their Atlanta headquarters.In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Design, build, and operate infrastructure for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources using SQL and cloud tools.Optimize RDBMS engines in the cloud to address security, performance, and operational challenges.Develop large, complex data lakes fulfilling business requirements.Optimize ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval for various data types.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs.Develop AI/ML models using AWS services and work with data scientists to implement these solutions.This role comes with the following benefits:

3+ years experience as a Data Engineer in a cloud-native environment.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years working with AWS Glue ETL, Redshift, Step Function, Athena.Experience in streaming and batch data pipelines using tools like Glue ETL, Lambda, Spark.Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB.Knowledge of Python and advanced SQL.Experience in building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines and architectures.You would benefit from having:
