Security Operations Specialist

for Cirkul, you will be responsible for numerous safety and security related administration tasks. These include creating and maintaining department metrics, managing and auditing proper access control and credentials, supporting other teams, departments, and partners regarding their security needs, scheduling security vendor maintenance and support.What does an average day look like?Driving Results:

With direction and support from the Director of Security and Security Managers, the Security Specialist will develop and maintain effective metrics on a prescribed basis that adequately demonstrates the positive impact of the Security Team to the business.Taking Ownership:

Use security access control, credentialing, and security technology to properly credential Cirkul employees, new hires, temporary workers, vendors, and visitors at all Cirkul corporate, manufacturing, and supply chain facilities.Making Decisions:

Conduct video camera reviews for potential or reported security violations in support of Security Manager investigations or requests.Cultivating Relationships:

Partner with Human Resources, Recruiting, department managers, area supervisors and functional leads to support onboarding efforts for direct-hire and temporary employees.Instilling Trust:

Foster a culture of safety and security to protect Cirkul people, assets, and operations by educating and reenforcing security policies and procedures.Customer Focus:

Provide support to all levels of the Cirkul enterprise to deliver high quality products and a world class customer experience.What background should you have?Knowledge and familiarity with security technologies, tools, and programs encompassing access control, credentials management, CCTV video management systems, alarm and fire panels, etc.Basic understanding in incident response and management, crisis management, and emergency response procedures.Previous comparable security specialist or administrative experience.Previous experience or support of military, law enforcement, or corporate security teams is preferred, but not required.Experience using computers and software including Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.).Ability to exercise sound judgment, organization, integrity, and effective communication.Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends, should it be necessary to properly manage a crisis or security event.Valid driver’s license, ability, and willingness to travel short distances between facilities in the course of work.Willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, and demonstrate resilience.Have a positive attitude, willing to work with multiple levels of employees, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.What do we offer?Competitive salary based on experience and marketGenerous benefits, 401k match, and PTO (even insurance for your fur babies!)Employee discounts on Cirkul productsNew corporate office space with great amenitiesOpportunity to work with a best in class team, in a hyper growth company, taking over the hydration industryCirkul, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
