Tier 3 - Secret/ADP IICompany Overview:The Army Training Support Center (ATSC) is located at Fort Eustis, Virginia and responsible for managing the Army Training Support Enterprise (TSE) providing oversight for many programs that enable the development, delivery, and sustainment of Training and Education (T&E) support capabilities worldwide. By Light is looking for candidates to provide Software Development Support for mission related components, computers, Software (SW), Change Management (CM), servers, virtual environments and applications.Responsibilities:Responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing, and programming information systems applications.Performs analysis, design, and troubleshoots automated information systems and applications.Responsible for the overall design and day-to-day management of the application engineering team.Responsible for team management of the application engineering efforts.Provide database administration and application engineering support.Support the development and implementation of internal application systems to permit remote processing and remote/central statistical archival of data using currently available hardware architecture.Prepare an Operational Concept Description, Software Development Plan, System Operations Manual, Software Test Plan, Training Development and Management Plan, Technical Reports, and Program Plan.Maintain internal automated information systems to include modeling, data element identification, database design, analysis, application engineering, testing, and documentation.Performs analysis, design, and troubleshoots applications in line with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Produces clean, efficient code based on specifications.Performs testing, peer review, and QA analysis.Provide SQL and application engineering support.Produces high-quality documentation for the applications and systems supported.Required Experience/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science.Minimum of 10 years' experience executing IT service and infrastructure support.Certifications: Azure Database Administrator Associate, C#, SQL 70-461.Must have programming knowledge in C#, and in Microsoft .NET and SQL environments.Experience with database software for application engineering usage including Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft C#, Microsoft JavaScript, Microsoft Project, Oracle, Visual Studio, Visual Source Safe, HP Fortify, and Microsoft SharePoint Portal Software.Experience in the Windows environment and network planning.Experience with STIG guidelines and the RMF/CCRI processes.Experience with JavaScript and .NET.Experience with Azure and/or Azure DevOps.Experience programming with C# and Full Stack Development.Experience using SQL Server and/or SQL Server Management Studio.Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.Preferred Experience/Qualifications:Supported the U.S. Army or other DoD/Federal Agency.Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.Special Requirements/Security Clearance:Secret Security Clearance.
