Systems Administrator
to join our dynamic team on a PRIME contract. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to manage and maintain IT infrastructure while ensuring optimal system performance.
About the Role:
The Systems Administrator will play a key role in implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems across the enterprise. You will manage day-to-day operations, provide system support, and resolve issues to ensure the highest level of performance. This role requires a hands-on professional with a deep understanding of IT system infrastructure and the ability to deliver high-quality support to internal teams and government clients.
Key Responsibilities:Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and processes.Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, mobile devices, and storage systems.Provide
Tier 1 (Help Desk)
and
Tier 2 (Escalation)
support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Monitor IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and rapid resolution of client/server, storage, and network issues.Support the escalation and communication of status updates to agency management and internal customers.Manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and software updates.Troubleshoot and enhance network components to maintain system integrity and improve performance.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problems and provide timely resolutions for hardware and dispatch system issues.Key Technologies and Skills:
Expertise in
Windows and UNIX operating systems , including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Strong experience with
client/server infrastructure , network components, storage systems, and mobile device management.Ability to monitor and maintain
system performance
while implementing improvements for reliability.Proven success in providing
Tier 1 and Tier 2 support , including help desk operations and escalation processes.Exceptional communication skills for interacting with
agency management
and internal stakeholders.Qualifications:
Ten (10) years
of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor’s degree
in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Five (5) additional years
of relevant SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Clearance:
TS/SCI with PolygraphCitizenship:
Must be a U.S. CitizenCompensation Range:
$129,000.00 - $170,000.00
