We surface insights that help GREF deliver a workplace experience that enables Amazonians to do their best work while at the office.We are seeking a seasoned mixed-method user research professional to join our growing Global Customer Insights team. As a UX Researcher III in GREF, you will lead high-impact, large-scale research programs that directly impact business strategies, and shape global workplace programs and services experiences. You will build and sustain programs for collecting, synthesizing, and communicating foundational insights across a variety of workplace dimensions.As a UX Researcher III, you are a customer-obsessed leader who is deeply curious and constantly strives to ask better questions. Scope and drive highly strategic research projects that inform global workplace program strategies and experiences.Conduct generative and evaluative research using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods to produce actionable and strategic insights.Synthesize research insights and distill them into compelling narratives that frame problems and illuminate both the customer and business value of recommended solutions.Guide a team of cross-functional partners on the execution of research programs and the delivery of results.Advocate for innovative ideas that will delight our customers, building cross-functional alignment and driving impactful decision-making.Continuously monitor market trends and competitive landscape to anticipate future customer needs and proactively ideate novel features and strategic directions.Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership.Continuously evaluate and improve research programs to ensure consistent delivery of actionable and relevant insights.Serve as a subject matter expert, responsible for coaching and mentoring teams and stakeholders on best practices in user research methods.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years conducting user research, with a strong emphasis on strategic program development.3+ years of hands-on qualitative research and moderating experience.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Anthropology, Behavioral Economics, Data Science, or 4+ years of field research experience.Deep experience in a range of research methods, both generative and evaluative types of research.A portfolio that illustrates how your research informed decision-making, showcasing deliverables, and your ability to extract actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to independently drive multiple concurrent projects in an agile environment.Excellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Experience independently designing and running original research on a range of subject matters.Direct experience using digital research platforms e.g., Dscout, Qualtrics.Solid understanding of the innovation, design process and how research is appropriately integrated at each phase.Strategic, business-building approach to user research.Experience in employee-based research.Experience in hospitality, transportation, and/or food service industry a plus.Vendor management experience.Research agency experience a plus.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
