Qualifications

Sr. Android Developer needs 5+ years of experience with Android, Java, and UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.Hands-on experience using Android SDK and Android Studio.Hands-on experience with Web Services, SOAP, REST, JQuery, and JSON to connect mobile apps to back-end services.Hands-on experience with the build tool Gradle.8 or more years of experience with Android, Java, JavaScript, and UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.Familiar with agile/waterfall development practices.Proficient with common Android Framework APIs (WebViews, Location, Camera, Notifications, Maps, etc.).Maven experience is a plus.Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.Experience with Object-Oriented languages/frameworks is a plus.Work closely with development, product management, and QA teams to design and develop Android applications.Develop and perform unit testing of software; prototype solutions as needed.Document work to allow for seamless hand-off to other teams.Build scalable and fault-tolerant solutions.Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams.
