Supporting defense modernization and national security across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace, DSE ensures customer satisfaction with its expertise in scientific research, engineering, and mission operations.Job SummaryKBR has an exciting opportunity for experienced Sr. Software Configuration Management and Build Engineer to support our operations within the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Project Team (IPT) at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPS) NAS Point Mugu, CA.The candidate will be responsible for performing configuration management of software, creating software builds, creating software installs, and installing the software onto computers. They will prepare software version description documents which will identify all of the changes that have gone into the software and document all of the known defects in the software. The candidate will work closely with project managers, software developers, and testers.Roles and Responsibilities:Configuration Management: Manage repositories, establish, document and follow branching practices, as well as communicating these items to the team.Use Agile tools and methodologies to document PI plans, Sprint Goals, and update sprint and Kanban progress for team milestones and demos.Perform preliminary software smoke testing and high-level functional testing.Write the software version descriptions (SVD).Prepare Installations: Create and update InstallShield project files for software and database installs-Debug installs.Set up and assist SW engineers to download, configure and operate VMs.Coordinate Sprint deliveries with CI/CD release schedules.Other tasks include documenting processes and suggesting process improvements.Basic Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Ten (10) years of work experience.Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:SAFe Scaled Agile For enterprise v4.6 or later.Previous experience with Agile planning and tracking using Azure DevOps or Atlassian Jira.Proficiency with GIT based software CM using git, git-lfs, (Tortoise Git or other GUI equivalent).VMware workstation application (or equivalent) for Virtual Machine management.Automation Scripting (bash, DOS, python).CI/CD pipeline configuration with YAML and/or JSON.InstallShield Professional 2022 or later.InstallScript coding for building customized Microsoft Windows installers.Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS).Basic Compensation:
