CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the Platform Auth Team. Our new colleague will be responsible for developing automation and building tools that accurately ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of a globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystem using Golang. Prior experience with Golang is not required but will be helpful.CrowdStrike is a computer security company. We do not require candidates for this role to have prior security industry experience. We will mentor and train in security topics as needed. You should have a strong interest in CrowdStrike’s mission and a willingness to engage with the needs of our product teams and customers.About the Team
You’ll be joining the Platform team responsible for authentication and authorization. The Auth team is responsible for both internal (e.g. Service-to-service authorization) and external (e.g. user login, SSO) authN and authZ. The Auth team is a critical part of cloud, frequently working collaboratively with many other teams. The Auth team builds and extends services that are capable of making millions of decisions per second!This is a US Remote position.What You’ll Do
Contribute to existing tools, frameworks, and related solutionsPlan, design, develop, verify, deploy, and maintain automated test suitesIncrease our automated test coverage, and improve our release quality and velocityAnalyze product, system, and feature designs for flaws and improvementsImprove, maintain, and automate our cloud infrastructure on AWSValidate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data, and applicationsValidate and verify customer-facing features, end-to-end, across the product platformLeverage new open source solutions to build new tools that test things in new waysBe part of engineering efforts turning rapid prototypes into large-scale core servicesBrainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teamsWhat You’ll Use
