Data Analyst - Hybrid

Job Description:As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and developing SSRS reports, based on mock-ups provided by a configuration team to customize standard vendor reports. You will also engage in ETL processes to clean and load data into both on-premises and cloud databases. This role involves SQL Server scripting and querying, as well as Business Intelligence report creation. You will collaborate with team members, department stakeholders, vendors, and partners to design, develop, and implement robust reporting, integration, and data analytics solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy customized SSRS reports in line with provided specifications.Execute SQL Server scripting and complex queries to support data manipulation and analysis.Engage in ETL processes to clean, transform, and load data into on-premises and cloud databases.Perform data analysis, data profiling, SQL coding/query tuning, data modeling, and data validation.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address data access and visualization needs through report development.Support the development and implementation of data analytics solutions in partnership with vendors and partners.Ensure data quality and consistency across various platforms and reporting tools.Develop and maintain documentation for reporting processes and data integration workflows.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices within the organization.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and reporting.Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying SSRS reports.Proficiency with SQL Server and strong knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases.Experience with complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.Proficiency in data analysis, data profiling, SQL coding/query tuning, data modeling, and data validation.Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders to develop reports and address data access needs.Strong experience in data modeling and data management.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Desired Skills/Experience:Experience with Power BI report development.Familiarity with Azure data warehousing solutions.Experience with Azure ETL processes and tools.Experience with Microsoft Fabric.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and data manipulation.The hourly range for roles of this nature is $40.00 to $80.00/hr.
