ERP Solutions Architect 1

Garmin International seeks ERP Solutions Architect 1 (multiple positions; Olathe, KS):Work with Garmin associates and IT Staff to provide application design guidance, documentation, training, and quality control.Work with IT Partners, Application Analysts, Developers, and business customers to research, analyze and design ERP application customizations, extensions, and integrations to meet business needs.Mentor Application Analysts, Application Developers, or other associates related to ERP functionality, best-practice ERP design, and testing.Participate in design and change review processes.Serve as a business-wide leader in project execution and design of new or existing systems and/or applications.Test custom applications and Oracle patches.Gather and document complex requirements for business needs and independently determine complex solution designs across multiple functional/systems/module areas.Translate, negotiate, and communicate architectural and development concepts across development teams.Develop project documentation including level of effort, detailed project plans, architecture designs, detailed implementation plans, deployment plans, project test plans, and operational training materials.Complete complex troubleshooting and determine appropriate course of action to deliver actionable results.Demonstrate a broad understanding of Garmin’s business model including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing.Develop reliable solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.Evaluate new technologies, features, and functions as directed by IT management.Exemplify Garmin’s Mission Statement and Quality Policy and proactively work to improve Garmin’s image and culture.Associates are permitted to work from home, within commuting distance of the office, up to two days per week provided that their job duties can be performed effectively while working from home, and if they have appropriate approval from their manager.Full-time remote work is not available.Please go to careers.garmin.com and refer to Req#12864.
