As a Solutions Architect within AWS, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's core utility computing web services (e.g., Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and Amazon CloudFront) including advanced services like GenAI (Amazon Bedrock) directly with customers and AWS Partners. Your responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement around specific implementation projects; providing best practices to customers, developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform, and being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers while working with a world class sales and business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practices within the AWS Solution Architect community. Technical presentation experience – White board, small and large group presentationsTechnical – Web Services development/deployment experience, cloud computingOperational – Web site/services operations, management, and securityAbility to travel 30%Experience (Preferred): Working with State and Local Government (SLG) or Public Sector customersBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspectiveAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
