In addition, responsible for quoting and managing contract programming tasks and performing product training.Job Responsibilities

Conduct basic hardware and software product demonstrations showcasing technical features and processes to prospective and existing customersEffectively communicate product benefits for complex applicationsAssist regional sales team in providing product recommendations for customers’ applicationsPrepare operating instructions and conducts training programs to meet customers’ needsMaintain positive customer relationships through effective interactionPrepare detailed technical specifications for quotationsDevelop programs/applications that effectively accomplish customer specifications/objectivesConsult with customers and incorporate needs and feedback into application designsProvide technical support to customersEnsure programs/applications work properly after maintenance and testingAnalyze and edit existing programs/applications as needed to optimize performanceTake a challenging issue from problem statement through to resolution and follow-upKeep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologiesCollaborate with engineering and marketing groups on product development projectsLearn from and study experienced Applications Engineers’ techniques and workRemain current with skills by attending training classes, independent research, and seminars as neededPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable speaking before small groupsProficient with MS OfficeCreative, analytical, and drivenWorks under close direction as well as in a team environmentBachelor’s Degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience0-2 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar environmentCore Competencies
