Trinity seeks a full-time high school Latin teacher to begin work for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified candidates should be comfortable teaching all levels of Latin.Interested candidates should have the following qualities:Classroom experience teaching LatinExperience with employing a variety of instructional strategies to engage students’ critical thinking, including the innovative use of technologyUnderstanding of multiple learning styles and ability to adapt as neededAbility to collaborate both within and outside of the departmentGood interpersonal and communication skillsWillingness to contribute to the school community as a club sponsor, coach or other position working with students outside of the classroomLove for the subject matterA master’s degree in Latin, or a related field, or a teaching certificate is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high school Latin program and familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.
