Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Traffic Engineer, we'll count on you to:Perform complex traffic engineering projects, exercise sound engineering judgment, preparation of traffic signal plans, traffic impact analysis reports and PS and E documentsMake decisions on design and engineering procedures as neededFunction as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects, but project management is not sole focus of this positionSupervise small staff of professionals and technicians as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/designRequired Qualifications

Experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/designProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseDetailed hands-on experience conducting traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, Autocad, and Guide Sign softwareDetailed hands-on experience conducting operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools specific to support job duties, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and AimsunDetailed hands-on experience conducting safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools including Highway Safety SoftwareProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, WordAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
