Software Engineer - AI Solutions

What you’ll do:Be an expert and evangelist of the Coactive productBe the resident AI technical expert and mentor for the Go-To-Market teamProvide technical guidance and support to sales and customer successProvide feedback from the field to product and engineeringWork closely with prospects and customers to deliver AI-focused technical solutionsLead and execute successful Proof-of-Value engagements for prospects and technical integrations for customersMaintain clear documentation and streamlined processes to facilitate efficient collaborationOccasional travel to customer sites and industry conferences may be requiredShape best practices and company culture as we growWhat we look for:BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience3+ years of production-level experience in Python and SQLExperience with modern AI frameworks and technologies, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MLflow, Spark and RayExperience in rapid prototyping and delivery of modern AI solutions, such as leveraging open-source models, API-based services, and other collaborative cloud tools (e.g., Databricks, Colab, Sagemaker, etc)5+ years of experience in customer facing technical roles is preferred (can include roles such sales engineering, solutions engineering, DS/ML consulting, etc)Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to navigate towards solutions that deliver success to customersAbility to effectively communicate and guide technical and executive audiences, whether in demos, sales calls or in-person customer visitsAbility to provide technical mentorship to other technical and non-technical team members, such as sales engineers, solutions engineer and/or account executivesPrevious experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plusPrevious experience in ML/AI focused roles is a plus (e.g. ML engineer)Previous experience applying ML to multimodal and/or visual data is a plusWhat you can expect from us:This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco or San Jose, California.The estimated annual base salary for this position is between *$186,000-$220,000At Coactive, cash salary is only one part of our total compensation package.
