System Administrator III (Cloud)

TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud System Administrator III to join our team in Charleston, SC supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).Experience Required:Seven (7) years with Master’s or 11 years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience in systems administration to include supporting daily operational requirements of cloud based computer systems.Duties include installation of software, systems upgrades, web page design, interface and updates, and system design documentation. Individual shall have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing cloud based environments.Candidate shall be capable of training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration and status, and providing instruction on computers and applications.Specific Experience:Candidate shall have notable experience supervising and/or mentoring of lesser experienced personnel.Plus:

Relevant certifications as approved by the COR in systems being administered such as AWS SysOps Associate. Additionally, depending on PWS tasking, Candidate shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II.Required Certification:At least one (1) of the following: CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).Skills Required:Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems; and dependent on task, individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.Security Clearance Requirements:• Secret
