It's fun to work at a company where people truly believe in what they are doing!Job Description:The National Records Operations Manager oversees the operational aspects of records and information governance services for an Epiq law firm client with the primary focus of ensuring Epiq staff have the skills and capabilities to meet service level agreements and surpass client expectations. This position ensures that the client is receiving an optimal level of service in support of the receipt, arrangement, storage, preservation, destruction and safeguarding of client and firm administrative records. This is an on-site position that will work in the office 5 days per week. Candidates may work out of our clients office in Kansas City, Boston, Washington DC, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis.RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish operating standards and documentation to be adopted by all Epiq staff performing RIG tasksDevelop and deliver training to all Epiq staff on RIG support standard operating procedures for tasks such as creating, circulating, storing, tracking, transferring, imaging, and destroying client and firm administrative recordsServe as the principal liaison between the client’s Information Governance team and Epiq Staff performing RIG tasksIn coordination with other Epiq Operations leadership, manage all Epiq Staff performing RIG tasks across client locations, including recruiting, hiring, training, performance management and professional developmentAssist client with onsite file management activities, offsite file storage, as well as file transfer activities such as obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, and preparing for shipmentAssist client with destruction activities, including obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, imaging, and preparing for shipment or secure destruction as instructedAssist client with clean-up activities, including triage, categorization, and appropriate storage or disposition of contentStay up to date and collaborate with the Firm’s IG team on industry trends, new technology and other best practices and innovations in law firm IG.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a Records Management operation (law firm strongly preferred), including personnel managementExperienced with FileTrail, iManage Records Manager, LegalKey and/or similar Records Management SystemsExperienced with iManage Work, NetDocuments, OpenTEXT DM and/or similar Document or Enterprise Content Management SystemsCompetency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsExcellent communication (verbal and written) skillsExperience transitioning to an electronic environmentAbility to lift to 30 lbs., and stand on a consistent basisAbility to travel as needed for operational requirements. Travel estimate would be less than 10%.The Compensation range for this role is 84,953 to 127,429 USD per year and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
