Job SummaryA Senior Java Developer with a strong foundation in Java 17, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software applications. A deep understanding of API development and experience with containerization technologies like OpenShift and Docker will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using industry best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Leverage MongoDB and NoSQL databases effectively to store and manage large datasets.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with other systems.Optimize application performance and scalability to meet growing business needs.Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Java development.Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including core concepts, frameworks, and libraries.In-depth knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.Experience with RESTful API development; experience with GraphQL is a plus.Familiarity with containerization technologies like OpenShift and Docker is a plus.Having an analytical bent of mind with design and architectural exposure in a Cloud native environment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.Knowledge of a messaging platform like Kafka.Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
