Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’s world-class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.Mandatory:• Required 3-5 years of strong development experience in Core Java, Spring boot framework.• Experience / knowledge in developing REST based architecture style services.• Expertise knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries, functions & stored procedures.• Comfortable on Linux/Unix platform.Desired:• Experience in C#, WPF.• Experience in working with Investment Bank.Roles & Responsibilities:• Should be able to independently work on development tasks in collaboration with business & other teams.• Able to propose and implement strategic/tactical solutions to critical business/technical problems.• Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical stakeholders locally and globally for status updates, requirement discussions, and discussions around solutions/approaches.• Deliver high quality change within the deadlines.• Understand and follow organizational and team-level processes and best practices.• Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills.Equal Opportunity Employer:Nomura is an equal opportunities employer.
