CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS BUSINESS ANALYSTThe Financial Wellness Engagement and Demand Creation squad is a marketing-focused squad that is responsible for delivering a highly personalized, needs-based communication experience to each of our 23 million participants. As an analyst on this squad, you will be responsible for examining business processes and needs, documenting requirements, epics, and stories for cross-channel initiatives (email and digital). You will be integral in creating a governance structure for our personalization efforts. You will work closely with a Squad Leader to create, prioritize, and maintain marketing backlog in order to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest impact to desired outcomes. The successful candidate will thrive in a complex business and systems environment that spans Workplace Investing and Personal Investing squads.Required Qualifications:• Expertise in various business analysis methodologies, including data analysis, use case development,

story writing

, and product documentation.• Ability to translate business vision into defined and prioritized stories for the team backlog.• Bachelor’s degree preferred.• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool preferred.The Skills You Bring:• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into stories with actionable acceptance criteria.• You possess strong execution skills and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.• True team player willing to jump in and help out the squad as needed.• You possess excellent consultative, listening, communication, and analytical skills.• You are customer-obsessed and have demonstrated commitment to delivering frequent, high business value features.• You look for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get the work done better and faster.• You have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers.The Value You Deliver:• Partnering with Tribe and Squad leadership to maintain a backlog of opportunities according to business value or KPIs.• Creating drafts of epics and stories to seed backlog in order to begin the refinement process.• Determine and convey vision and goals at the beginning of every release and sprint.• Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning meetings, demos, and retrospectives.• Inspect the progress at the end of sprints with the authority to accept or reject work done.• Mitigate impediments that may impact successful team completion of release/sprint goals.• Communicate externally with stakeholders to ensure teams are building the right solutions to meet customer needs, communicate status, and buffer the team from potential distractions.• Partner with appropriate groups to ensure organizational readiness and documentation for ongoing support are done for each release.Company Overview
