LOCATION:
Remote U.S. locationsOVERVIEWThis position assists the efforts of the managed services team in providing compliance administration services for defined contribution plans (401k, 403b, Money Purchase, etc). The position will be tasked with all aspects of plan administration from validating census data, compliance testing, trust accounting, asset reconciliation, through the completion of the Form 5500 while communicating with the customer throughout the process. Additional responsibilities include working with other members of the ftwilliam.com team on various tasks within the software.The position requires an independent self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. ftwilliam.com compliance module experience is highly preferred.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCensus data validation and annual questionnaire reviewReview and track plan document provisions, restatements and amendmentsPerform annual data scrub, testing, and track participant balance using the ftwilliam.com compliance modulePerform Trust AccountingCalculate Employer contributions accurately and timelyCreate and complete Form 5500 and other applicable forms and schedulesCreate valuation packages for customer reviewAssist with training of junior staff membersProvide prompt and professional customer responsesIdentify RMD eligible participantsMeet regularly with the managed services team to solve problems and improve processesQUALIFICATIONSEducation:
Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent experienceExperience:3+ years experience with retirement plan administrationKnowledge of regulations and legislation affecting plan documentsProven ability to communicate complex concepts to internal staff and clientsPrior experience managing a case load is preferredOther Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:ASPPA or NIPA credentials preferredAbility to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesDemonstrates good oral and written communication skillsAbility to perform work independently with minimal supervision and to exercise sound, independent judgment, and discretionProficiency in MS Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and other typical business software applicationsftwilliam.com software experience preferredAbility to manage multiple concurrent projectsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and processesTRAVEL : minimal
